APPOINTMENT TIME ARRIVAL
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment.
There are no walk ins.
If you are late, there is nobody that will be able to come out and serve you.
Your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES ON APPOINTMENTS
Our personalize service require for us to book on an hourly basis and cancellations or no show can leave an empty spot in our schedule that could have been used by another client also causing us lost of income.
We kindly ask you a minimum of 48 hours advance notice for changes or cancellations of appointments. This must be done over the phone directly or leaving a message on our voice mail if there is no answer.
Please do not text or send a message on Facebook, changes must be done only over the phone.
A 50% fee of the grooming cost will be added to your next appointment if this is not respected.
For repeated times a full amount of the grooming cost will be added the following appointment.
MEDICAL & HEALTH
Please let us know of any medical conditions your dog may have, so if possible we can adjust the grooming procedures .
If your dog is not feeling well (e.g., diarrhea, vomiting, fever, etc.), please do not bring him in, this will just make him/her feel worse and may affect their behavior during the grooming process.
We will have to reschedule your appointment.
Your dog needs to be healthy for his grooming session.
EMERGENCIES & VETERINARIAN CARE
Dogs are moving animals, grooming equipment and tools are sharp, and although is rare accidents could happen.
In the unusual situation your dog may require a veterinarian attention, we will transport your dog to the closest veterinarian to our facility.
Please note that as the owner you will be responsible for all medical and veterinarian cost incurred.
Some vaccines are mandatory to have while other are suggestions.
We believe to allow medical professionals determine which vaccines your dog needs.
It is your decision and that of your veterinarian to provide a safe level of protection for your pet. We recommend to consult with your veterinarian and follow his advice on the best options for the protection of your dog's health.
Dog that are severely matted require extra attention and time. These type of knots can be very uncomfortable to your dog, possibly pulling and damaging their skin.
Mats can be very difficult to remove, these knots are so tight and close to the skin making impossible to pass through a comb. A lot of times once the hair is removed, you may see irritation due to the mats cutting off the circulations to the skin therefor creating redness on their skin, not due to the shaving but to the skin not breathing and having proper blood circulation.
Removing their coat in this condition can also cause nicks, cuts or abrasions due to skin growth trapped in the mats.
Heavy thick matting can also trap moisture and urine near your dog's skin and around their private parts making it very painful and irritating.
In these cases the compassionate solution is to shave your dog close to the skin and start on a grooming schedule of 4-8 weeks depending on the breed of your dog.
Please never laugh or shame your dog after they have been shaved.
FLEAS AND TICKS
If your dog has fleas please let us know in advance, we may only be able to accept him at the end of the day.
If we notice any fleas on your dog after you left, they will automatically be given a flea shampoo bath at an additional fee, we cannot take a chance in getting and infestation at our salon and possibly transmitting these little pests to other dogs.
DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH
For the safety of your dog and that of others please ensure he/she is on a leash at all times, no exceptions. Your dog may be well behaved and come when you call him but other dogs may not be as good listeners
We do not work with aggressive dogs.
In the event that your dog is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, Lolli-Pawz has the right to stop the groom, before or during the grooming session and the client will be charged a fee for what was done up to that point.
