Lolli-Pawz decided to only buy high premium quality products, not only so our dogs look better but because we know it's better for their skin and coat. These products are free of alcohol and the best part is, they are also cruelty free.
We have a variety of shampoos and conditioners to accommodate all different types of coat and skin condition to help your dog feel better.
We understand sometimes dogs may get very matted, to the point where is impossible to get a comb through, if we are not able to comb or brush your dog without pulling and hurting him, your dog may need to be shaved, most of the time this is the kindness solution for your pet. Shaving very matted dogs takes more time, wear and tear on tools and can be stressful to your dog. Charges will be added on top of the regular grooming price.
This service is not included in all grooms, it must be requested each time your dog comes in. We do not force the glands in order to emptied the sacs, a gentle pressure from the outside of the glands is performed. If we are not able to release the anal sacs and you find your dog still scooting or uncomfortable, we suggest a visit to your veterinarian.
We will gentle remove a small amount of the hair in dogs that are used to this and allow us to do it. Some dogs can get stress or even aggressive, so we never force any dog to this procedure unless they are used to it and accept it in a comfortable manner.
Dogs with this type of coat need either a through brush out or a de-shedding service and some trimming in order to rid of the undercoat and shedding hair. We do not shave double coated breeds unless for medical reasons. After years of education and training Lolli-Pawz Grooming does not believe in shaving double coated breeds. Research suggest it's not in the best interest of the dog, or for the health of their skin and coat to shave a double coated breed.
Puppies need to start coming in for grooming after their first vaccination, usually around 8 weeks old. It is extremely important that puppies get use to the grooming process as soon as possible. Grooming salons are full of sounds, smells, handling and touching the dogs in ways they are not used to at home. The sooner puppies learn these new experiences the less stressful and more positive experience they will have in their future grooming life. See our VIP Package for more information.
As dogs get older their grooming needs evolve with them, older dogs could experience some sort of discomfort or pain, they could be vulnerable or sensitive to some techniques, sounds, tools, etc., Lolli-Pawz believes in adjusting our expectations in order to accommodate an aging dog's unique needs, doing whatever possible to finish the groom but keeping their comfort in mind.
You don't have the time to brush your dog? Just bring him to us and we can help you get rid of all the extra hair. Double coated breeds are perfect candidates for this type of service. These dogs normally need to be brushed 2-3 times a week at home, so we suggest a minimum visit to us of every 4-6 weeks for better results.
Along with a brush out service a de-shedding bath will remove all the extra hair your dog may have, again this is perfect for all those double coated breeds. We use a special bathing system which uses a gentle but effective pressure to remove the undercoat in the bathtub and provide the dog's skin with a gentle massage at the same time.
We love to welcome our dogs to our salon, and we understand that grooming to some dogs can be stressful or maybe scary, so treats are a big part of our way to making them feel comfortable and relax, it is our way to earn their trust and become friends.
If your dog has allergies or you do not want for us to offer them goodies, please bring with you their favorite treat or food we can offer them while they are with us so they can feel more comfortable and save.

These dogs may have certain medical conditions, experience pain, unable to stand up for long periods of time, arthritis, and just not feel like grooming is that much fun anymore. Our goal is to make them as comfortable as possible to finish the groom. You may notice some imperfections, hairs out of place or just not as pretty as once was and this is most likely because it is too painful for your dog to finish a task without hurting him so we rather not do it.
Prices will depend on the difficulty, time and effort to finish the groom on these senior citizens. Additional charges will be added to the regular grooming fees.
